Sunset-Do-Well's New Look

In case you haven't heard, Sunset Shimmer's Mare-Do-Well costume got a few upgrades in the latest chapter of my fanfic "Sunset Shimmer: The Mysterious Mare-Do-Well". I decided to throw this together to show them off.

The costume sports a slightly darker color scheme, along with a bit of a body armor look. Her suit's protective padding has been reinforced, boosting her resistance to attacks. The tips of her hooves are covered by boots, with the usual dark blue bandages wrapped above them. A belt is buckled around her midsection, and comes with two small pouches each loaded with flash bombs (a crowd-control weapon that Sunset had experimented with in a previous chapter). Wrapped around her forehoof is a grapnel launcher, introducing a few new tricks for her. First, it allows her to get around quickly and silently, handy in situations where teleporting could give her away. Second, she can launch herself airborne "Batman: Arkham City" style, allowing her to soar high above ledges and glide across the sky (something that really gave her a rush the first time she tried it ). Finally, she can use it in combat situations to pull enemies and objects towards her.

With her new gear, Sunset-Do-Well is prepared to take on anything criminals throw at her!
